Pre-Order Policy
How pre-orders, payments and cancellations work at Rocket Grunt TCG – and what happens if supply is limited.
1. Securing your pre-order
To give all trainers a fair chance at upcoming sets:
- Payment at checkout: pre-orders are paid at checkout to validate and hold your order.
- Agreed balances: where a part-payment has been agreed with us, the remaining balance must be settled by the deadline we communicate (see section 2).
2. Communication and final payments
Because release dates and allocations can shift, we keep all pre-order customers updated directly:
- WhatsApp priority: all critical updates about final payment deadlines, allocation status and product delays are posted in the Rocket Grunt TCG WhatsApp group.
- Final balance: once the final payment notice is posted in the WhatsApp group, the remaining balance must be settled by the date given.
- Your responsibility: please join and keep an eye on the WhatsApp group so you don’t miss a payment window.
3. Allocation and fulfilment risks
The TCG industry sometimes faces supply issues beyond our control:
- No guarantees: while we work to fulfil every order, placing a pre-order does not guarantee fulfilment because of possible supplier constraints.
- Quantity adjustments: we may reduce quantities or cancel orders entirely if our supplier allocation is limited.
- Order sequence: when stock is limited, orders are fulfilled in the order they were received (first come, first served).
4. Cancellations and penalties
- Unpaid balances: if an agreed balance isn’t paid by the communicated deadline, your order will be cancelled and the amount already paid may be forfeited.
- Cancellations and refund requests: if you cancel or request a refund on a pre-order before its release or shipment, 15% of the order value may be retained, because stock is secured specifically for your order.
5. Shipping pre-orders
- Held shipments: orders that contain pre-order products are held until all items in the order have arrived.
- Split shipping: if you’d like your in-stock items sent before the pre-order release, an additional R100 shipping fee applies.
Rocket Grunt TCG may change these policies at any time without prior notice.
