Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information in line with South African law (POPIA).

2. Information we collect

We only collect the personal information we need to process orders and improve our service:

  • Account details: name, email address, phone number and shipping/billing address that you provide when you register or check out.
  • Communication: contact details and message contents from email or WhatsApp enquiries.
  • Payment data: card payments are handled by our secure payment partner Yoco, and EFT payments by your bank. We never see or store your card details on our servers.

3. How we use your information

We process your data to fulfil our contract with you and for our legitimate interests, in order to:

  • process, ship and track your Pokémon TCG orders;
  • keep you informed about stock updates and pre-orders;
  • analyse website traffic to improve the shopping experience and prevent fraudulent transactions.

4. Log files and cookies

  • Log files: we record IP addresses and browser types to administer the site; this data is not linked to personally identifiable information.
  • Cookies: used to remember preferences such as your basket. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then not work.

5. Your rights under POPIA

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to:

  • Access: ask us, free of charge, to confirm what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction or deletion: ask us to update or delete inaccurate or outdated information.
  • Object: object to the use of your data for direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to processing at any time.

We respond to all POPIA requests within 30 days.

6. Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18 without parental consent. If you believe your child has given us their information, please contact us and we will remove it from our records.
